Scott Gill is an avid outdoorsman who became hooked on kayaks the first time he paddled one. He loved the idea of travelling with his kayak into the backcountry, but found its lack of portability to be a problem. Cart and dolly systems had to be returned to parking lots and got hung-up on rocks and tree roots.
